Grapes for this wine were sourced from the Finca Los Juncares vineyard, which was planted in 1957, and is located in the eastern section of the D.O. La Mancha in Las Mesas, Casa los Pinos, at an altitude of 2156 feet. The grapes are grown using traditional, dry-farmed methods leading to a rich full-bodied red, with flavors of ripe fruit, toasted notes, plum, black cherry, and sweet exotic spices. Bonus points for notes of sweet cherry/vanilla and cola flavors with juicy acidity.
