The Casata Monticello Nebbiolo d’Alba is a classic and traditional Piemontese red wine, crafted by the historic Tenute Neirano, a 4th generation winery. It’s made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and has classic floral notes of rose and violet, as well as a dry & velvety palate. Although this wine is made to be enjoyed within a few years of bottling, unlike the more complex Nebbiolo-based wines of Barolo & Barbaresco, it still packs quite the punch and we recommend decanting this wine before serving. It pairs well with red meats, game, and pungent cheeses.
