Every week we have dozens of great new wines, beers, and ciders come across our Tasting Bar and we only select the most interesting, tasty, and those that offer the best value for you! Recently, we have added several great items that I wanted to bring to your attention because of their uniqueness and general fun factor!

  • Clos Cibonne Cuvée Tradition Rosé 2015: This is a fun and unique bottle of pink! Made from 90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache that is aged on the lees under fleurette, a biological aging process similar to sherry, for 1 year in 100-year-old foudres. Fruity with just a touch of savory/salinity on the finish. Pair with fish, tomato dishes, or a grilled peach salad.
  • Castello di Selvole Chianti Classico 2009: From one of the oldest settlements in the Chianti Classico area, which dates back to the Etruscans, comes a great value for aged Chianti! Made from 100% Sangiovese, this is a traditional style Chianti that was aged in French oak barriques before taking a roughly six year nap in bottle. Ready to drink now and an ideal food wine!
  • Avantis Estate Mountrichas Family Malagousia 2016: Greek whites can often be daunting with their strange names, odd origins, and difficult to understand to labels. This is where we can help! This is a great, easy-to-drink bottle with a pronounced floral and tropical fruit nose. There is everything from melon and orange blossom to Asian pear and roses in this glass. Enjoy by itself, with a salad, or with grilled octopus.
  • Vending Machine Wines PET-gNAT Napa 2016: Made using methode ancestrale, this is a 100% Aleatico from across Napa. This is a perfect poolside bottle of bubbly for the summer! Fruity and fizzy with just a touch of sediment in the bottom that you can, according the producers website, just sacrifice to the gnats!

Stop by and check out these and other great new items that we are adding to our shelves. Plus, don’t forget the old favorites that fill most of our spots.
