Evmolpia Tsarev Brod is a delicious modern wine, that represents grape variety characteristics and our terroir perfectly.
Evmolpia is a Bulgarian grape variety, obtained by crossing the Merlot and Mavrud grape varieties. The grapes used for the wine are harvested in mid-September from our own vineyards near the town of Shumen. The wine ferments in small vessels, subject to continuous monitoring, and matures for 8 months French barrels of 400 l – 20% of which are new. This wine is a part of our Bulgarian Series of wines that serve as ambassadors of our call for preservation of Bulgarian wine grape varieties.
Evmolpia Tsarev Brod is an elegant and delicious red wine.
