DisznókÅ‘ produces a pale, aromatic and DRY white wine in Hungary’s Tokaj region that features notes of grapefruit, white flowers, and exotic fruits like pear and quince, with a crisp, acidic profile and a distinctive mineral and salty finish. It has intensity and elegance, offering a complex balance of fruit and minerality without being heavy or sweet, making it suitable as an aperitif or with light foods. Historically, only extremely sweet dessert wines made from dried late harvest “Aszú” Furmint grapes could be labelled as Tokaji, but this has changed in the last 20-30 years allowing for more experimentation and innovation, with dry, semi-sweet and non-Aszú late harvest Tokaji now being widely available.
