The Rubus Project was created by Fran Kysela as a way to source & sell incredible wines at value prices. All wines in this international project are hand-selected by Fran Kysela. Rubus wines are fruit driven, true-to-type values that over deliver – a true representation of quality for the consumer at an excellent price.
For this special Corbières blend for Kysela, the producer devoted extra focus to the pruning technique, lowering yields, hand harvesting, sorting the grapes, selecting the tanks & continuing their environmentally conscious approach to vine growing, harvest and winemaking. Aged on the lees for 3 months with no use of oak.
Pale pink rose color with salmon hues. Delicate strawberry nose, savory berries and cherries, and a touch of dried herbs and minerality. A classic gris de gris at a great value price.
